Spirit of Stars & Strikes  Since 2002, Cadence employees around the world participate in the Spirit of Stars & Strikes (SOSS) fundraising effort. In conjunction with the corporate philanthropy program Stars & Strikes, Cadence employees in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and India participate in a synchronized fundraising effort. Through a variety of employee-led fundraising activities and events, each participating site raises money for a non-profit organization in their community. The organization and programs are chosen by the site team each year.
All funds raised are matched by Cadence's Corporate Community Involvement Program. In 2007, 16 of our global teams outside of San Jose raised over $353,000.00 bringing the total amount raised by our global team since the inception of the program to $1.7M.
